1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Jinee AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jinee AI is an AI-powered meeting assistant that:

  • Joins your online meetings (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Listens and responds to questions during meetings when activated
  • Generates and sends meeting summaries via email
  • Integrates with Google Calendar to automatically join scheduled meetings

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Record or join meetings without proper consent from all participants
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or meeting participants
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code

5. Meeting Consent and Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have the right to invite Jinee to join meetings
  • All meeting participants are aware of and consent to Jinee's presence
  • Your use of Jinee complies with all applicable recording and consent laws in your jurisdiction
  • You comply with your organization's policies regarding AI assistants in meetings

We recommend informing all meeting participants that an AI assistant will be present before the meeting begins.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Jinee AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you provide through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely to provide and improve the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues or outages
  • Factors beyond our reasonable control

During the beta period, Jinee may only be able to join one meeting at a time, and availability may be limited.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • AI responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
  • Meeting summaries will capture all relevant information
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JINEE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any errors or inaccuracies in AI responses or meeting summaries
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jinee AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your Google Calendar and discontinuing use of the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jinee AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
